Josh Crowley

Josh, a 15-year-old freshman at Jamestown High School, plays alto and tenor tax, flute, and piano.  He was asked to join Young Razzcals Jazz Project after Dave Adams saw him perform in a jazz competition in Williamsburg while in the 7th grade.

Since then, he has performed numerous times with the Young Razzcals, including the Telluride Jazz Festival in Telluride, Colorado.

Has also performed locally at the Corner Pocket and Aroma’s Coffee House.  Josh has performed and recorded with the Pat McGee Band, Dave Adams, and Hod O'Brien.  He has also performed with agents of Good Roots, jazz guitarist Larry Coryell, and jazz saxophonist Richie Cole.

Josh has received recognition and numerous awards including Outstanding Soloist at the District VII Jazz Festival and Outstanding Soloist at Fiesta-Val in New York City.  He has made all district and honors band five years in a row.

Josh writes, records, and performs original music and is proficient in many types of music including rock, r and b, blues, pop, classical and jazz.
